recording and replaying question on super 4 usb

Hello all, i am purching a starview 4 usb with hard-drive. The thing im wondering is- if i record from my starview to an external hard-drive can i then watch the recording on my laptop if i then plug the hard-drive in that. Many thanks in advance to all. k

think it records in ts format. with a converter like this Download EasyXviD 1.1.2 - EasyXviD can convert DVD, TS, MPEG, AVI, MKV, MP4 etc. to XviD-AVI, MP4. - Softpedia you can convert in to avi etc

Thanks for the reply. is it not possible to down load a player that will play ts,( if one exists) rather than having to convert it to avi or something similar?

Thanks all, i will download, or purchase if neccessarry. My grand plan is hopefullyto record onto an external hard-drive then take it to work when im on nights and plug it in my laptop to releave boredom. I never seem to watch what i want at home (bloody mrs). krypton, point taken and yes im feeling stupid,red faced and i wont consider buying anything again. Thanks for gom advice Satsmo, tried from mates sv4, copied onto stick and it plays perfect on laptop.
