starview 1 First Gen "0" on display

hi guys
i have seen many members having this issue with clone box but didnt find anything with the 1stGen Box , is the resolution would be similar. the problem is as follow.

the box was keep rebooting. i have flashed it with the new firmware it worked for few minutes at the moment of time but freezed without image only sound and now it has 0 on display.

the caps do not show any sign of leakage.. dont have a meter to check the power going through it .

after doing the test Identifying A Cloned StarView it seems i have 1st Gen box.

the caps dont need to leek m8 check to see if any of them are bulging on the top instead of flat.

This very thing happened to my first starview box over 18 months ago. It's the power supply unit most likely. I only yesterday swapped the power supply as i got my hands on one from a box with adamaged tuner and my box is now powering up fine but there is no picture or audio but the channel data is beibg displayed along the bottom. i have yet to try a flash and will update if it works. Power supply units are hard to come by and it's probably worth just gettin a new starview

if there is a swollen cap on the psu board try replacing it before anything else it the cheapest option first.

What parts did you replace

The C11 capacitor on the PSU board. Its a 10V 1000uf cap it was probably replaced with a 16V 1000uf cap.
