I was thinking of the same set up, keep legit v+ box downstairs and use a starview 4 upstairs.
If I do this will Virgin be able to tell that we are using the starview to get sky sports ect ?
Could anyone advise what software I need to download to do this ?

        Cheers

The starview does not have talkback so they do not know you are using the box.
The only software you need is to flash your starview with the latest firmware. (see red sticky's 1.07)
