    STARVIEW HD COMBO

    Hi new to this, is it possible to get this box working?? Is it true that it only works on Sat side and the cable side of it is defunct??

    As I said new and a bit clueless when it comes to all of this, understand the logistics of it all and how to get it all set up and working, just don't know too much about the software side etc

    help is very much appreciated thanks

      will only work on sat side,starview promised a fix for cable but shafted many.welcome aboard m8.

              Hello, I`m a bit raw on the cable stuff so apologies for the basic question.
              I`ve got a friend who I have helped setup the Starview 7 and he`s well chuffed with it. He has got a HD sat box but it isn`t clearing very well so has asked me if there is a Starview/cable box which runs HD ?
              As I don`t know, could anyone help me ?

                  These boxes work perfect on both satellite and on cable. There is no gift as such so to get the channels working you need to read up on or google them answers as those answers are not allowed here.
                  Boxes are getting a bit old now but hard to find a better combo box that does satellite and cable flawlessly with an idiot proof menu system.
                  Once upon a time it was all about backdoor 0 passwords, now its only about the rsa keys !!!!!!!

                                  much easier to find a sat supplier than a cable one,and many of the people that had these boxes would not know where to find hens teeth and there fore be dead to them as not sat dish installed

                                      Starview 5erVer ive never been connected too but from all the posts that Satsmo spends all day deleting that relate to the sv robbers enough said.
