Start from scratch mate including loading the firmware on the box along with the logo file, Heres where to get everything......

Yes I think it might be best as I'm not getting anywhere fast,

Can I delete the old v1-07 software from the Box ? or when I install again will it be overwritten ??

You cant delete it m8, it will just overwrite it.

Just had another go, downloaded all the new updates from the above links, switched the power off on the box, popped in the memory stick, re-started the box,
(1) pressed memory entered usb option, Starview 4 logo file appeared & The Box Super USB V1.07.

clicked on Starview 4 logo file and nothing happened, clicked on v1.07 and a small window opened clicked on that and it downloaded..??? is that ok so far ??

back into menu keyed in 1570 brought up new menu keycode and switched on.

Back into menu scanned for channels, I did 4 different scans, ended up with NTL. picked up loads of channels, tried it out again all the FTA are there but still getting blocked off with the $ on the majority.

Have I bought a duffer ???

And keycode is definitely on, if it is try as said earlier switch it off from the rear switch and then back on. What town/city are you near or in?

Got it working

switched it off on the back, waited a few seconds back on, off straight away and back on with the same flick, all of a sudden downloading channels appeared and its up & running..

To all the gentlemen that gave me advice & help one hell of a BIG THANK YOU... you lot are genuine stars
