What is the future for StarBox?

There seems to have been an explosion of interest and commentary on the web recently regarding the future of the box. Some of the stuff I rea in conflicting so I want to break it down a bit...

Question 1. Are the days of using the Starview box and getting free channels really numbered?

Question 2. Is it possible to crack this Nigra 3 and bypass the use of the encryption card by using upgrades in firmware and new codes?

Question 3. Are NTL full of shit and scare mongering in the hope people will stop buying the boxs?

1. - Yes, eventually.

2. - Not using these boxes, the linux based boxes like DreamBox MAY be able to, but I dont think it's been proven yet.

3. - Yes & No, they will be implementing N3 at some stage, but no-one is sure when, so they must be do some scaremongering too.

The answer is , no one knows ? , if you've already got one , your stuck , so stick with it , if you haven't , the choice is your's .
Take a chance , buy one and if you get 3 months out of it , it's paid for itself .
