Starview hd combo set up help

Hi All

Just joined the site and am all new to this so please be gentle haha, right after my starview 7 box stopped working on the cable side ive decided to use my starview hd combo box through a dish. I totally understand the rules and know I need to be careful.

Im just trying to find out that once ive got the correct software installed and connected up to my dish what I will then need to do in order to recieve ALL free channels. Do I need it connected to a phone line etc, do I need to subscribe etc really dont have a clue so any help would be great.

box will need to be connected to lnb on sat dish and lan cable connected to decrypt from the place we cant talk about.hopefully your box has a lan port,look in the sat section should be a few posts on the combo and spiderbox firmware.

If your talking about FTA...Free To Air channels, then all you have to is scan 28.2e and you'll get all available FTA channels currently on this Satellite.

The are other way's of getting all channels but we are not allowed to talk about on this forum.

Another forum that seems to have the only meaningful discussion on the matter is not accessible at the moment does anyone have a reason for this and or is it connected with the issues of sv.

the post in general is about a combo hd box and that can only work on sat with a dish,nothing to do with sv7 which are cable boxes.

I am real, mine was off as well, just turned it all off and did a reboot and on it came.

i have sv hd combo wen i have it on fta channels its fine wen on premium channels its very glitchy any suggestions would very grate full thanx

More than likely down to crap overloaded server if fta work fine
