More Starviewv4 Help!

Hi guys Ive had a read through the sticky and a few threads, just need clarification,

I have been asked to help with a starview 4 box cos I have been successful at the starview 2. Now the firmware in the sticky, do I just save the file to a usb stick, then plug this stick into the starview box and then using the usb menu download it from the stick, because I cannot convert the bin file on my lappy?

Once this is done will this mean the navigation menu 1570 will work then so the codes will be able to be enterer?

Yes m8 download v1.07f/w for UK and just save to your USB device, then plug into SV and navigate to USB menu and upload.

Once v1.07 f/w is on there you will be able to open up the CAS 1570, you will not need to enter any codes as this f/w will AU, once v1.07 is installed.

Menu 1570
Keycode ON
Exit back to $ channel and let it update

Just make sure SV is switched off when inserting/removing USB device.

Installed channels menu 1570 does not work, also now the factory reset option required a password to run and 0000 does not work nor anything else logical.

just reflash as jok say but just flash with firmware ,make sure your box is off at the back when inserting and removing the usb stick ,
sounds like you box has not took the firmware m8.

Afternoon, fellas, just updated the box and everything fine and dandy just wanting to know do I have to leave the usb stick in the back as when I remove it and turn the S/V on all I get is the logo screen?

I did that and when I turned back on the logo screen was on for ages and didnt move, turned it off again put isb syick in and turned back on then it was back???

reflash ya box with firmware do ya scan turn emu on etc
