problems with setting up super usb box

Hello good people of this site,

I am a total newbie to this site, & NOT highly knowledgeable with all the jargin that goes with understanding all that is needed to be known.

I have read lots about my setting up problem before this post & got no where fast!

I have downloaded the file with firmware etc on to my memory stick, & put stick into box, choose the usb option & was shown "CH Data Backup" ( size = DIR ????, god knows what that means!!) , also Code back up ( size= DIR ?? ). Nothing happens automactically as some have suggested?, & i do not get any option at bottom of screen to download file, it has options of (green button)... file delete, ( yellow button ) format file???... ( blue button ) file rename & exit.

please can someone set me straight on where i am going wrong?, it's so annoying!!!

Also i have the 2007 model of "The box pvr", this when new never needed updating, & would find all the channels on its own when new. Now days i have to manually update codes but do not get all channels? especially sky sports 1??, please could some one explain why & if i can solve this problem?. It was this problem that made me but the "Super usb" only to find it needs firmware added!, this is all new to me, so please understand i am a BIG learning curve!!

hi, i would be very greatful if someone had the latest firmware for the starview 4 usb box which would accommodate n** channels.

need help new to this.. got starview 4 usb and havent got a clue

Hi Can you tell me where i can find the logo files, i've downloaded the latest firmware and the step by step guide, but can't see the logo files

You shouldn't need the logo file. Make sure you have a genuine box and load V1.12. If you have a clone use V1.07.
