The Box Super - No Signal - Plz Help

Hi,

My "The Box Super" was working fine for atleast 6 months. But yesterday while i was changing channels, it just stopped working and no channels load up. So when i change channels all i see is a black screen and after a few moments i get a "no signal !" message.

So far i have powered it off and on, auto-scanned channels but it's the same result - "No Signal !".

I have never updated with the firmware as i have not got the lead but i never had to because i just use the latest codes via keymaster and enter them in the menu and that always seem to work.

Does anybody know what the problem is?

there was a keyroll yesterday in uk so that will be your problem, its best to update the firmware then it will auto roll and you will not need to input keys manually. you will need an (rs232 null cable) readily available on fleebay for a few quid and the (firmware) in the download section

Could you send me a link for that cable? Because the one i found, i can't find the correct port on my laptop for that lead.

you wont made the cable is for old pcs try serarching for null to usb cable that should do it null cables are for pc ports

yes thats perfect one thats for laptops as old laptops don't have com ports unless you buy a pcmi card or iff its a modern laptop a express card

that serial cable is fine as it will connect pc but it will come with male 9 pins you will also need an rs232 null cable make sure it says null with 9pin female to female to connect to the box then join the 2 together. thats how mine works for laptop

piece of cake m8 there 's plenty peeps on hand when it comes, you'll be glad you did it this way cos when vermin start to roll the keys they can roll many times in 1 day or week and its a pain to keep getting and installing key
