    hi there,

i'm not sure either how you can tell the diference from a clone to an original, i have a starview 4 n got it from ebay so it will be interesting how to tell the difference !

its really easy to setup just do a factory reset (might already be setup tho so check first)!!! install firmware by going to the download section depending on your area ireland etc.... mine was v1.07 is the latest for me then dl to a usb stick from computer.

make sure your box is off first then stick it in the box and turn it on.

install the firmware by going through the hdd button n install,
then do a scan for channels that's about it.

when you in the menu press 1570 which is the secret menu and make sure your key is on, hope i havn't missed anything i'm sure a veteran will help u out if i have

    good luck!

i have read through the info on how to flash the box but it tells me to download the firmware which i have done then it says about putting the fimware and the logo files on the usb i only have one thing from the download which reads
theboxsuperusb-v1.07 wich i take it this is the firmware that i put on the usb but what are the logo files
sorry i know im prob just a bit thick but i keep reading it over and over again and cant get my head around it i thought when i downloaded the firmware it would just be a couple of files not one .bin file

Don't think you need the logo file with V1.07, it's already included, everything you need is in the one file. Just follow the instructions to the word and you'll be fine.
