Well, I've read through the whole forum.... and a few others! The Starview seems to have it but I'd appreciate a little help on how to transfer recorded programs from the external HD to PC? (I know you plug the drive into the USB port
) I gather these need to be decoded somehow?
We have a V+ box on VM but I was really miffed to find there was no way to transfer recorded programs and even if you want to send them to your DVD recorder, the output is only composite. The external drive on the S4 seems to be the answer and is what swung it for me over the Vox 5100.
This is my first venture into "FTA" DVB-C but with all the excellent advice on how to upgrade firmware etc., I'm sure all will be well.
So, now I've posted something I can go back and see what else I can download......
