Alternative Boxes

Hi, I still have the Eurovox 1100 USB box which I understand is no longer working because of N3. What are the alternatives? At the moment we use a bog std freeview hdd but hubby wants his sports channels back.....

id go dreambox hd with satellite dish...

on cable kryptview 780 and the newer phoenix hd 850,or go the sat route as stated.

Thanks both of you. We don't have a sat dish so I guess Kryptview would be the cheaper option?

Don't bother with either!!,kryptview and starview piss poor,all you get on this site is people trying to make excuses for them both being so crap,writing on the wall for satelitte as well,I'll give it a year max till if would have come to an end or getting very close,private c/s On cable is the way forward,won't be long until more boxes like the open box come on the market for cable,currently 4 boxes available,including a hd cable box that doesn't need a attenuator LOL!!!,any box that needs one of them has obviously got a piss poor tuner,open your eyes people all these people banging on bout you've got wrong id,you need to fit a attenuator etc are selling them,hence why there trying to make excuses for a crap server and tuner

You could well have a point.
If the clock is ticking on sat (which it probably is) then cable cs could well outlast it and be the way to go. In fact Starview could well outlast sat cs. Now there's a thought.

as too the variable attenuators,vm are fitting them also i have been told,when the kv box was been made made years ago the signal was probably much lower at that time of development.

There you go again jumping to kryptviews rescue!!,Are you sure you weren't a super hero in a previous life,LOL!!! for the record I was referring to the a850 when I mentioned attenuators,as its well documented they pixelate on the hd channels,yes its true a attenuator will improve these issues,but my argument there is boxes with much better tuners,such as the blade combo on private c/s,no pixelation but as soon as I put the a850 in you get pixelating,tried it in a few different houses no attenuator required,like I said stop making excuses for a piss poor tuner,and as for the server,its never been right since they got raided,channels come and go every week and you regularly get freezing on both boxes,know hundreds with these boxes and all they do is complain how bad they are,like I said private c/s is the way forward,End off!!!

What is the actual reason that the people behind starview and kryptview know how to do card share but no one else does yet?

Do you think the people behind them are maybe ex virmin staff with inside imformation or something?

Ive been wondering about this for ages
