Starview 4 'updating' message on screen

Had my Starview for a week now and it's been working fine, however, every now and again a text box pops up on my screen saying it's 'updating'. Stays on for about 10-15 mins and has come on twice in the space of 2 hours tonight. Is this normal and what exactly is it updating?

if it comes on again put it on sly sports one and leave should onli take 1 min at the most unless you have a splitter on.it is requiring what it needs to stay up and runnin

go to menu, 1570, press default then back to slyspts1, leave for few mins, should be ok...ynwa

i dont think he is loosing the channs it just comes on and then updates the ke*s goes off and then comes back on a short while later. a factory reset might do the job or when it does it just do as bloomer says
