Starview Super USB lost channels

Hi,

I have a Starview 4 Super USB in Cork,Ireland running 1.09 firmware. Over the last week channels have been dropping off and now they are gone altogether (all $ channels that is). Are others having this problem? Is there a newer version of firmware on they way?

Hi have exact same problem as last post from cork, all channels have gone over the last week only the FTA ones are left. its nearly three days of trying every sort of advice on fix's and it could be the box all along ? can u help?

Hi Guys,

Yup have the same problem. Myself and parents house have the box usb and have lost channels (including sports & movies) over the last week or so. Interestingly enough anyone with older boxes SV2 or SV3 are still working away with no problems. Is there something going on with the new (SV4) box's?????

Is there anyway to put firmware from the starview 3 box onto my starview 4 box, as thes units still seem to be working?.........or will it make it un-sellable on ebay????

im in cork city and my sv4 is not working due to new encryption system.wear wud i sell my box.no more gud to me.

I also had the same problem and lets be realistic here kryptview have sorted a temporary fix for nagra 2 what have the people behind the starview done well.....nothing! so a firmware problem with the sv4 i would think that they wont even bother at this stage..just my opinion oh and you know what I did with my sv4 i put it on fleabay and sold it to a user in the UK and good riddance to it.
