Keep loosing channels?

Hi Everyone

I have a strange problem with my Starview 4 USB.

i keep losing sum channels like sly sports and movies, every
couple days, i keep having to rescan my box to get it back?

i am currently on firmaware V1.7, In the london region.

do you think by updating to version 1.10 may help in
stabilising the box?

any help or advice would be much appreciated.

If I was in your position I would try the new firmware as it will hopefully sort your box and it also has a couple of advantages as well, faster scanning and channel change

Hello Mate, i to have got the same problem and im about to try the new firmware 1.10. I have also got channels duplicated from when ive re scaned the channels, any one got any idea how to clear them off.

a factory default reset clears all the channels out

Thanks to Jok & smoggy for the advice, I will try it later. If i do a factory reset do i have to start from scratch and put the usb in etc.

Managed to reset etc, was ok but keep losing the odd channel again. The channel is there just not coming on. Any1 know what the 6 symbols stand for, as when i have a chennel on, the first 3 are highlighted but on the channels that dont come on only the 1st is highlighted. Was wondering if i needed a signal booster box as ive seen on e-bay. ??

If you are in the UK stick with 1.07. Are you using a splitter? Some TPs are changing over the last few days so you may need to do a factory reset and scan again.

Im in the UK and last wk updated to the 1.10, im using a splitter also.

Revert bact to 1.07. Do a factory reset, then rescan, turn keycode back on. Make sure you do the initial scan from the direct feed take your splitter out. Put it back in after the scan.

If problem persists check your splitter and all your cabling before getting a booster.
