Any ideas of the next starview 2 update ? theres not been one since jan. I keep getting dead channels - have to factory resett and scan each time.

its not the firmware thats causing the loss of channels its the cable company moving the channels to a different frequency so you have to rescan them back in -

it all depends, if the channel has moved to a different transponder that you already have then an update of channels does it but if its a new ftransponder then the only way is to do a full scan. mostly they just move them to another transponder you already have.
but you will still need to delete the blank channels once the've moved (reset does that for you)Comment
