Have 2 starview 4 boxes, 1 works, 1 doesn't

i have a starview 4 and recently bought another for some friends, then obviously when nagra 2 they didn't work. Now with the v10 software, the newer one works perfectly but the older one doesn't work at all.... it recognises channels when scanning and all the data comes up in the EPG but the screen is blank and there's no sound. I've tried restoring factory settings and putting v10 on again but it doesn't work... any ideas??

Sounds like a scart connection problem to me. Try a different scart lead

changed scart

i changed the scart and it didn't work, it's like it was before the version 10. it's as if the new frimware isn't working but it's working on the other one. i used the same usb too so i can't figure it out.

only about 4/5 channels work on it, others say data updating and the others are just blank screens, it's weird cos when i scan it finds the channels and the epg but there's no sound or picture???????
