Starview Old SW Message?

Just put box on getting login message saying : Old SW?

Anybody care to explain, been onto downloads forum and there is nothing there recent..

yes i do when they rob off the people and give nothing back,the early days you just bought a new box every 2 years .
i moved from the sv1 then as i could read the writing on the wall and when they added the sub,i knew what was coming next,others did not and paid the price more that twice

cacti m8,change the record ffs,it will do a lazarus again soon,fortunately mine was due to go off at the end September so no biggy if dead.

not saying that m8.(but it may be the case),this happened about eighteen months ago and it was gone for roughly two months then came back in it's present guise,they may well switch off the oldest boxes (of which I have two) or it may have finally reached the end of the road.

if memory serves me correctly it displayed the same message last time it was down for an extended period,

Thanks for the info mate however I am hoping for the positive side. As you have said the starview boxes always go on and off hopefully it will be "on"

My starview 7 is on firmware 3.00 is this the latest firmwre or should i update?

there is the mystery hoping and i bet new funds are going to be needed,wonder who took up the 2 year one ,how long are you going to wait with a blank screen?

i had seen in the last couple of weeks the 2 year deal and wondered who would seriously be thick enough to chance it and then realised I did only 2 short years ago.
