8888 loop & no channels?

    8888 loop & no channels?

    turned my starview 4 usb on today to find it showing 8888 then 8882 then ---- going over & over the same thing, tried turning it off at the wall & at the back & on again several times till it finnaly went to the boot screen (bt 01) or somthing like that.
    it then went to where you pick the language, went throgh all the set up, scanned but not picking anything up? tried re flashing with firmware still no joy.. any one got ideas??

    Try a factory reset before rescanning.
    When you said you tried reloading firmware did it reload ok?

      done factory reset & default ect.. it loaded firmware ok then rebooted. but still same not picking anything up.

        I am thinking you need to check your cable feed or connection.
        Have you got another box to try on the cable feed or can you take he box to someone else who has cable.

          iv got a dbox on same cable feed no problem. took off all splitters & put direct to feed but still nothing? was thinking ov taking it back to suppliers for exchange, but with changing firmware to 1.07 they will say its void the g/tee.... so if anyone has had same problem? or ideas?
