    sv3 the box channels + F/ware

Hi, I would be grateful if anyone can help. I have just had a few problems and decided i ought to update to firmware 8.04 (currently 8.02) but for some reason the loader will not connect to my box.
I also needed to do a channel sort so went back to an old loader (in fact tried a couple) and found the only one that worked was 4.03. I did the channel dump, opened svce only to get access violations etc. I think I remember this from before but I am sure there was some other software that adjusted the channel dump before opening in svce1044!
All of the software I have obtained from here but just a bit confused!!
    Can anybody help, PLease?

The last time you were here it was a Starview 2 that you had. Have you changed since or is your post saying SV3 incorrect?

HI satsmo, what a plank, the box is thsv2 and not 3. In which case is the f/ware ok.
Do you have any ideas on the channel dump converter?
      thanks for your help.

No different firmware, you will find the SV2 firmware and loader here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-loader-18314/ I will get the converter for you and add it here in a few minutes.

You will find the two way converter and instructions on how to use it here http://www.4shared.com/file/75623491...R__HOW_TO.html use winrar to unpack it first.

          Thankyou

Satsmo, thankyou so much for your help.

Works a treat, box working and channels sorted.

just for info, do you think it will be worth upgrading to a new Starview box or which box would you recommend changing to?
