starveiw 4 dead

hi new to this forum .i purchased a starveiw 4 usb last week ,set it up on friday dead by sunday.im in dublin the box is dead ,checked power supply which is ok , has anybody had the same problems and is there a fix .ty

did u flash it with new firmware 1.10? look in thru vents and see if u can see a heatsink on the chip,if u do i would say u bought a clone and the starview firmware will kill it

checked the vents ,there is a sliver box about 2inchs x 1inch ,which i think is the heatsink, i have bought off this supplier for 3 years never got a clone before . i checked his wedsite its says authorised dealer no clones ,i will ring him in the morning .thank you for your help

hi all checked with the supplier ,he said he got a bad batch of boxes ,he will replace it tks again
