will booster help no signal problems on starview

hello will a signal booster help me with no signal message problems on sky sports 123 and xtra and prem channels. have tested box at friends and all channels work perfect the problem lies with my cable signal. am not using splitter also sky sports etc works fine on old analogue box which is connected sometimes and through a splitter

everything like that has been done several times....all the other scrambled channels work and if you read the thread it works fully up my freinds house so it is a signal prob...i just want to know will a booster help and if so which 1 would u recommend...thanks 4 reply
