Starview 4 Problem

    Starview 4 Problem

    Hi I am having a few issues with my starview 4 box and was wondering if someone would be able to help.

    I have had a new cable line installed last week which is all working, my starview box was delivered yesterday but I cant seem to get an channels working. I have flashed it up to 1.10 but when searching for channels I dont get anything in the list.

    Do I need to run my cable modem the same time as the box or can I do a direct feed from the virgin box on the wall to the starview?

    Is there something im missing?

      make sure you have set key emu to on. and yes you can do a direct feed to your box ...

          one other thing to check,look in thru vent if u see a heatsink on chip remove firmware pronto it will kill it as it is a clone.

                  go for the obvious coaxial goes to cable input if not no signal.direct feed not thru other box.

                      Hi guys I fixed this late lastnight. Turns out there are no NTL channels in Leeds I had to choose one of the others C&W I think it was, anyway its all working now

                          not, certain but dont think theres ntl about in uk, i have to scan with t/pest or c/w. but could be wrong...ynwa
