right lads my turn now.. got 2 boxes from usual supplier last week.set them both up at my place for 2 mates. no trouble. both spot on. now at mates houses. 1 works fine.. other not. he has a live feed, checked myself. took box back to my house, same problem. box comes on but cant connect to tv, my stuff works fine so scarts etc are ok. box seems to take its time to come on, it does this...8888,8882,6-01,then to last channel selected. remote works ok. trouble is if i have to send it back, i cant get rid of 1.07 firmware cos i cant get into menu cos i cant see the ruddy screen, if you get my point. done a few of these, but this has done me head in. btw, the mate does not have the usb stick so its not the usual bricking problem. any clues lads? YNWA.....

cheers smoggy, know what you mean, but the thing is, i cant see anything on tv screens. tried at 2 sources. also its not a loop as such. can change channels on front of box but cant see tv. ynwa

hi boomer m8, what is showing on tv screen? black screen? you tried moving the scart from bottom to top one, also have you got a svideo cable you could try on that output.

yep, tried moving scarts, just blank screen, yet it worked last week when i put1.o07 on it. cheers, ynwa
