channels gone again

hi have starview 4 and yesterday put on new beta firmware. all worked fine. bbc1 bbc2 c4 itv and sky 1 @ 2 all came back. i am in dublin. however just put tv on today and those same channels have gone again. tried putting the new firmware back in. rescaned emu on pressed default but same thing. anybody else starview 4 lost these channels

to get channels back do a rescan. for some reason every time you turn off the power to the starview 4 it loses bbc1 bbc2 itv c4 and sky 1 @ 2 but if you do a rescan they come back until you turn of the power. must have something to do with the new beta firmware. hope this helps anyone having same problem

Hi I have just checked and everything is working fine with new beta f/ware installed. What I would suggest you do is reinstall the previous fix and rescan for channels and turn on emu,then load the beta firmware and exit from menu without changing emu setting and go to BBC1 and see if it works.

as i dont have one ,i would say factory reset and autoscan ur provider and keycode to on,maybe moving frequency as u would lose them then.i would just power off box with remote and not switch at back.once u put the fix or firmware on it just once will do and suggest do a set default also.
