starview 4 genuine box dead

hi for some reason my box has died all of a sudden and is displaying 8882 on th display....my box was perfectly working on an older firmware which i think was 1.07 but when i updated to 1.10 via usb it updated sucessfully but once it switched off after the update it never came on again.....is this becuz i never waited 15sec b4 switching it back on or did the usb have a currupt firmware file....please help....how can i fix this..regards
