    2 starview boxes

I have one starview 4 box downstairs, but want one for upstairs.... Can anyone tell me the best way to go about it ? Do i need a splitter and coax cable to enable me to have the 2 boxes watching diffrent channels at the same time ?

Ok, i have an old cable that was originally connected for sky tv....this runs upstairs to the bedroom... can i use that cable.... attach either a forward path attenuator, lock and seal f connector or a male to female connector to the cable... attach it to the splitter and feed it into my starview box to enable me to watch two diffrent channels in seperate rooms ????

Just attach one end of that cable to the splitter and the other to the box and you should be up and running and able to watch different channels on each box.

This cable is diffrent to the cable used by virgin... being that it was used for Sky before.... The box i have upstairs is a Sky box, can i use the same cabling with a virgin adapter to work with starview box ? Or do i have to change the cable wire ?

not really sure what you mean. have you got a sv box upstairs or a sky box? if its a sky box it will not work, totally different systems. if its a sv box , i think the cables are similar, but not 100% on that.
i run a box upstairs, then down to l/room to gen vermin boxthen to sv3, then to pc for b/band, no probs ..just check connections, scarts etc are spot on. hope this helps. ynwa.

you can use that old sky wire, just connect a screw on f connecter. connect that in to splitter and the other end to next starview.
