Ok, i have an old cable that was originally connected for sky tv....this runs upstairs to the bedroom... can i use that cable.... attach either a forward path attenuator, lock and seal f connector or a male to female connector to the cable... attach it to the splitter and feed it into my starview box to enable me to watch two diffrent channels in seperate rooms ????Comment

Just attach one end of that cable to the splitter and the other to the box and you should be up and running and able to watch different channels on each box.Ok, i have an old cable that was originally connected for sky tv....this runs upstairs to the bedroom... can i use that cable.... attach either a forward path attenuator, lock and seal f connector or a male to female connector to the cable... attach it to the splitter and feed it into my starview box to enable me to watch two diffrent channels in seperate rooms ????Comment

not really sure what you mean. have you got a sv box upstairs or a sky box? if its a sky box it will not work, totally different systems. if its a sv box , i think the cables are similar, but not 100% on that.
i run a box upstairs, then down to l/room to gen vermin boxthen to sv3, then to pc for b/band, no probs ..just check connections, scarts etc are spot on. hope this helps. ynwa.YNWA..Comment
