    starview 2

    hi all my starview 2 the box is not holding the signal im using the 257 firmware but i have to rescan everyday could i try cryptoview 400 on it
    we are all learning each day

    Those firmwares you have mentioned are for a Starview 1 are you sure you have a Starview 2?

      hiya m8 i talked to you a long time ago and its a starview 1 in a starview 2 box now the only firmware that worked was 2.57 but it doesnt hold the reception i have to rescan everyday i have not tried 400 on it will it brick it if it is a clone

        Yes it will brick it and I remember telling you about the SV2 shell a while back, sorry.

        The firmware will not be the problem. Are you using a splitter or direct feed and have you checked all your cabling? Also how are your other boxes on the same feed?

          its straight of the main feed right into the box no splitters at all

            You could try a booster m8

            or reflash the box again with 257 firmware
