Hi, I turned off me external hardrive before the starview now when I turned it back on the starview is saying it needs formatting?
Problem with this is that I will loose everything that I have recorded to date
, is there anyway around this ?
Can I connect the hard drive to my pc copy the files over , re format the hard disc with the Starview then copy the files back from the PC?
For future reference is there a particular procedure of shutting down the Hard Disc in future so that it does not need re formatting or do I Have to leave it plugged in permanently ?
Any advise from the wise one's much appreciated
