Starview 4 USB firmware v1.10 update

Hi all, I live in the south of Ireland and my starview 4 usb box stopped working about 6 weeks ago. I loaded firmware v1.10 on yesterday but still no channels, anyone got any ideas please?

Have you tried deleting all channels,then rescanning.

Have you tried a factory reset? plus is the emu turned on?

have u loaded the new beta file which i the most recent,factory reset,autoscan ur provider,set default key and keycode to on.

I had already loaded the latest beta version and reset the factory setting and deleted and re-scanned the channels but to no avail. In desperation this moring I reset the default keys and then re-inputted the correct keys and it's working, hoorah

Still can't get starview USB going!

Been at this for 3 days now. Tried v1.01 and others,reset,emu on, still no joy. Only a few channels. Live in Dublin. Do I need codes? Cables on box into cable in and cable out? Any ideas please????

afta u put firmware on did u do a factory reset then a scan

did u turn the KEYCODE on

Yes did that. Still only few channels.Which version should I use Beta or 1.10?

as far as i know just the beta firmware all in one package,update your box,autoscan your provider,u should get a list of channels found,set default key,keycode to on.
codes are of no benefit in irl anymore.

Thanks. When I go to upload the Beta file to the box (which is a RAR file) it won't allow me to. Had no problems uploading Bin files. Any ideas please????

if the files are compressed u will need to extract first using winrar.

Tara, not sure if this will help or not. I'm in Cork and got mine working this morning. I first loaded the Beta version of v 1.10, then reset the factory default settings, then deleted and reloaded the channels. At this point it didn?t work so I deleted the channels again and loaded channels from Chorus rather than the Cork channels, this also didn?t work but the box powered off which was different. I then deleted the channels again and reloaded the Cork channels, then reset the default keys and re entered the correct key codes and it worked. I?m sorry if this is long winded and I?m not entirely sure which step made it work but I hope it helps, also download Izarc to unzip the rar file.
