Some clarification needed regarding Starview boxes in Ireland

I have a DBox 2 and got it working yesterday but My friend has a Digivox with no USB slot or Ethernet port and my other friend has a " The Box " which I haven't got my hands on yet.

1. Are they both Starview boxes ?
2. Are there fixes for these boxes in Ireland ?

There are no current fixes for either box [not on forums anyway]
The owner of THE BOX has got his moneys worth
If DIGIVOX is SILVER he done well too
They could buy dreamboxes[they are linux boxes as are D-box
If DIGIVOX is black XL he could feel aggrieved [shoddy back-up]and
should vent his anger to supplier & ask for swop for working box
If FIX is released for older boxes they could be used in 2nd room or
sold on.

i believe there is a fix for the starview 4 us b in ireland..1.10 in the downloads section or the red stickys

on n*l irl no wont work as no fix has come out,they will still work on true c****s cable or n.irl and uk.
digivox and starview2 aka the box are 2 different makes.
