Starview needs new codes or new frimware?

Hello everyone

I am in Ireland and my CB is gone with almost all channels. Nw I'm left with only the channels no one wants to watch.

What's the fix to get all the channels back?

1)New codes:
I went every where (that I know of) to find new codes but no luck to find these bloody codes.

2)New frimware
There's talk that a new frimware has been posted and that it would sort out everything. Do you need new codes aswell or if you flash the box with it the new codes will automatically upload?

What type of starview have you?
starview = sv1
the box = sv2
the box super = sv3
the box super usb = sv4

if you have a starview 4 usb you are in luck,and sv1-3 no fix sorry.

I now know that TheBox = SV2... Is there anyone who knows where to get the latest firmware to make it work in telewest area.

I stop using it, as it is no longer receiving cable channels when Virgin Media updated their system. Someone told me that this site got the latest firmware to make it work. I got the serial cable but I just can't access the link to download the files.

Please help...
