keep losing channels on starview 4 usb

hi wonder if ant one could help im in the london area on telepest
im using a sv4 problem is i keep losing some channels i go through the usual thing of reboot rescan etc etc get all the channels back
then after a few days ive lost them again at the mo i have to do this a couple of times a month
also i lose all the info on whats on the channels keep having to download the epg all the time which is a pain

so just wondering

1. is this a common prob

2. does any one know how to fix this prob

3.is this something that just happens

4. shut up stop yer moaning and get on with it just be happy your getting free channels

any help would be great

i have the same problem , looks just like we will have to suck it and see until another fix comes out. it seems to help if you delete all your channels before you re- install, but remember to save your changes after 3 all channel deletions , otherwise , my box will freeze. cannot seem to delete smooth fm channel fully either.

Which firmware versions are both of you currently using?

i was on v1.07 updated it to v1.10 but still having the same probs

Did you have the problem while on 1.07 and after a factory reset and rescan?

yes had the same prob on v1.07 thats why i tried v1.10
after i do the rescan reset etc everything comes back as normal including the epg but after a week or so then i start to lose the epg and channels then have to go through the procedure of reset rescan again
