How long will sv4 last in Ireland?

I'm living in Dublin and am wondering how long this new sv4 firmware will last? If anyone knows a rough estimate? I am one of a small few in my area who has sv4, everyone else has sv3 sv2 or eurovox max v. I've flashed them all with the latest firmware but no joy (i think there only meant for the uk). So before i refer them to buy an sv4 i want to know will it be worth there while?

i dont think any knows the answer to your question m8 ,its just a case of taking a chance and seeing how far you get .

if you get a few months out of them, they have virtually paid for themselves. anymore is a bonus. as with all things "illegal", its hit and miss. had my sv3 for 15 months, lost a few days viewing. had a chipped box for 2 1/2 years. can afford to go for a few bevies now ....ynwa.

I'd get a linux based box mate like a dream,dbox or itgate,they're more flexible when shit happens,stay away from sv imo

can never tell how long any box will last, just have to take a chance and hope for the best mate
