THE BOX (I cant get it to pick up channels)

I ive got the THE BOX i know my way around these type of boxes ,well the basics,when i try a auto scan it starts finding channels then it trys to re boot its self, does any one know what might be wrong with it.

I GOT IT FROM A MATE HES HAD IT ABOUT A YEAR, I HAVE USED THE V4.O3 STB UPDATER WITH THE BOX h20081222 API-BIN FILE IT NOW ALOWS ME TO KIND THE SCAN AND GET ALL THE CHANNELS ,IT ALLOWS ME TO STORE THEM AND SET THE BOX TO THE DESIRED SETTINGS, AFTER AROUND 30mins IT SWITCHES OF THEN REBOOTS. ????? ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME..ie APART FROM THROW IT IN THE BIN
