help flashing starview1

hi guys, this is my first time flashing a box so im a bit stuck

my computer does not support a rs232 connection so im using usb to rs232

the problem is when i open GTRom v.4:00 i cannot get the data to transferr to the box.

am i using the right GTRom or how do i go about flashing the box???

hi guys my mate has got my sv1, unfortunately he has flashed it with the wrong firmware, it is a genuine sv1, how would i go about clearin the wrong firmware to put in the correct firmware

just reflash with the correct firmware

if you are unsure m8 use the core 257 it works on both.
