    problems flashing sv1,,,help

jus loaded the crypstar v1.5 core400 software to my sv1. when i go into the system info it still has the last software details on it which are APPI ver: 4.00e_E Boot ver : 7.0 7JUNE 2007

is this the latest software or am i doing something wrong...do i need to do a factory reset before i flash the box??

    thanks guys

sometimes the new firmwares are just updates to the original so the date doesn't change (not sure if this is the case with the SV1)
if your channels are auto updating then you must have the latest firmware loaded

As smoggy said this is a patched version of a firmware revison. Yes you can do a factory reset after the flash, rescan and turn key emu back on.

This firmware is for a genuine SV1 are you sure you have a genuine box?

It never was and never will be on the SV1. A good online guide or a TV guide is the only way to go.

Its an old box but gets you all you need.

I have also been informed of your other posts relating to the exact same query. Please refrain from opening numerous threads in future and stick to your original thread. Other members have been helping you out in those threads and it is quite frustrating when they have given there time to do so.

I will close this one now.
