Starview 4 Recording?

I tired using my Starview 4 USB to record for the first time last night and am not really sure what I?m doing. I was in the EPG and tired to use it to record a program later in the evening on a different channel. A message saying ?Recording INIT?? came up on the screen as soon as I hit record and all other functions stopped. I left it overnight to see if it stopped recording when the program was over but when I checked it this morning it was still giving the message. I had to turn the box off and on at the back to get rid of it. It did record the channel but filled the USB pen I was using .

Does anyone have any tips on recording? Is there a way to get it to stop automatically? Record programs using the EPG? Set times to record?

l just press epg and arrow to the program and press record once and that part of the epg goes red ? then l just leave it and it records its self m8 , have u formatted your drive, the latest n2 software have a recording bug l believe tho
