you wont need keys (codes) if you update firmware as this will autoroll the keys (codes)

make sure you read through the tuts m8 as there are one or two things you need to do to ensure you flash your box properly .good luck .

Well still waiting for good old royal mail special delivery to arrive!

I'm not completely new to computers so think i have sussed it - if i`m right then i put the new firmware onto a usb stick, power the unit off - insert usb then power back on - install logo file then firmware file.

connect to cable supply, scan for channels, then do the secret menu bit?

i will have another good read first- just one thing - the firmware i downloaded is in .Bin format with no >cue file - is there way of extracting the files or does the starview just read the .bin appropriately.

Apologies again if i am boring you with useless questions it will prob be a lot clearer when i actually get my hands on the unit.

            Regards

            Steve

You can't read the bin file but the SV4 does.
