Help needed please. My usb won't work after being hooked upto the box super

Hi

Hopefully someone can help. I have just got starview 4. My usb stick broke recently so I used my external hard drive to download the logo's and 1.10 to. The 1.10 went on fine but the logo's wouldn't. when i tried plugging my external abck into my laptop it now won't recognise and when i plugged my external back into the box it asks me if i want to reformat it!!! does this mean i'm screwed? i'm not sure how it could have gone too wrong as i followed the instructions and only plugged in the usb when starview 4 was off. any idea what i can do?

Please help as I have years worth of photo's on my hard drive!

surely buying another usb stick would have been far easier. dont know for sure but formatting in usb hub may have got rid of your photos..sorry if i'm right but ....ynwa

Hi ali21,

have you tried using a recovery tool on your HD?

Google RECOVER FILES 2.1 & see if you can get your photos back that way.

Just an idea.

Long story short, I was unable to retrieve anything but didn't lose too much!

there is a recovery tool on file hippo i cant remember the name of it but it has worked for me m8 good luck i hope you get them back
