I don't think ebay sell boxes anymore, correct me if i'm wrong.

Personally i think you are better off going to a reputable dealer that gives you a guarantee, try skywonder etc.

                  Hi Gents
Thanks for your replies very helpful, i am about to order a box from DVB JUNKIE. I know there are cheaper options but these seem to be genuine boxes and i dont want a clone. They are advertised as 2008 model does anyone know if this was a good year or not
                  thanks again

Sounds like a wine buffs question 2008 was the year the Starview 4 was introduced to the market.

These particular suppliers look to be one of the very few selling genuine models.

                      Thanks Satsmo
Ordered from DVB junkie. I will try not to muck it up on the first attempt, Do you suggest version 1.07 or 1.10 for the initial firmware

1.07 if you are UK based, latest Beta (do not use 1.10) if you are in Ireland on Nthell cable.

                        Any problems drop back.

Thanks to all. I received my box today from dvb junkie, only two days from ordering it. The box came with the latest software on it all i had to do was scan for the channels. An exellent service and the box is not a clone, very easy for non techs like myself. A very competative price also, would recomend a look
