    The Box USB Hdd

I just got a mate of mine a Box super usb pvr, as mine is great and works like a dream!

However with his i got him a 500GB maxtor basic external usb2 hdd, now the box pics up that you have plugged in a hdd but it wont record onto it and says that it is invalid!

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the size of the disk!

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure the box cannot handle anything more than 320GB.

          Found the answer

Since i posted the pretty much the same thing twice (sorry about that ) i have figured it out it would appear the disk size is limited. Not sure too exactly what though also the "FAT" type cant be NTFS must be "FAT32".
I have a 320gb USB drive i partitioned it into 3 separate drive,s and all is Happy now.when useing the HDD function it shows 3 separate drive,s which can scrolled to useing the handset.

          Hope this helps
