    Things to look out for

    Hello there,

    After reading the sticky on different posts, and some info from other people, i arrived at this.

    Im going to go for the Starview 4,
    * Looks nice
    * Seems Very easy to setup (with the USB stick)
    * Looks like a nice EPG
    * Good price

    What should i look out for before i buy on of these?
    * How to avoid a "8882" loop? (or something like that)
    * How to spot an original?

    And my final thought / question :-

    Can they be detected?
    * Is it better to just order BB and then use the box to get the channels (that way it doesn't look dodgy if you disconnect the original box).
    * Is it better to order a M package, then install both boxes so your still sending talkback to Vi*gin?

    What are your thoughts on this?
    Thank you Very much!

    re things to look out for

    Hi,l've the read in posts clone boxes have a silver heatsink which can be seen through the vents on the cover.l have a sv4bought it in December last year.managed to 8882 it by loading the wrong software the wrong way,but recovered it using info on DK,where there's a tutorial on how to do it the proper way.The post after yours has info on clones and links to genuine sv4 suppliers.l personnally have a splitter on my bb connection as that is upstairs out of sight of visitors to the house.l use an Av infrared sender/reciever to view on the tv downstairs and change channels etc.The only way my box can be detected, l believe,is by a tv detecter van ,if l am watching a channel they know l'm not subscribed to,whilst they drive down the cul de sac l live on

        As always, i would say subscribe to the minimum package. Give a little get a lot. Sub to VM and put your own box in place.

        THE TRUTH
        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

        Today's report is black and white.The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
        The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.
