usb not recording the box super usb

The box works well in all respects but will not recored on to the usb stick. When i insert the stick and switch on it is present and is readable shows the backup files etc.The stick was formated in the machine and is 8gb.
The box had sofware on it when i purchased it v1.10
Can anyone help

you are in uk go back to an earlier firmware as v1.10 and beta were made for n2 irl and recording does not work.

do i just do a factory reset and then reload v1.07
