    getting warning sign on starview 4 can virgin detect starview 4

    Can anyone tell me if virgin can detect that im using a starview 4 as im getting a warning sign?... any answer`s would be appriciated thanks

    yeah you better unplug it m8 right away, or wrap it in tinfoil. am sure there was a post previously if you use search there was loads of helpful tips to prevent them seeing it .

      well i have a eurovox and i was flicking through the channels and got to jjb sports and there it was you are using an illegal set top box dont worry too much unless the men in black knock your door.

        the message is alod of bull mate they can't detect you its a scare tactic it came up on my normal virgin box the otherday and thats legal

            starview have no talk back facilty so virgin cannot tell if u r usin it,this warnin is on all s v boxes.i would recommend purely as a precaution u put a splitter on ur virgin supplied box and keep pluged in n on so that it recognise any updates etc

              ok guys i was bullsh*tting.

              As he's only made 8 posts and all posts asking for help on different things, all of which already on the site. Explaining on how to do or fix.


              Its good to give back to forum now and again, but it seems he only here to grab and run.

                ok gazz I new you were talking shit, I might be new on here but am not ****in stupid.... Only wanted some advice from someone who no`s more than me with this,,, I might only have 8 post`s but how can I give back what I don`t know............

                  dont take offence mate. sure gazz meant no harm.but having been on this and other sites for a good while,it can get frustrating ,reading the same questions when they have usually been answered in previous posts. just try to have a good look around ,all things will be sorted here.

                          they can't see you are using a starview because it has no talkback and the only way virgin know you have a starview is someone grassed on you
