Box Blank?

Hi there having issues with an older starview... the SV1, it powers on, however the display stays at 0 and doesnt do anything else. Could the box be blank?. I have tried to update it but cannot connect at all.

Any ideas chaps?

probably caps gone on motherboard,unplug remove top and look at caps for bulging or doming and leaking,caps are cheap and need to be soldered in,local tv shop if your are not handy.there might be a guide/tut on site to show you.maybe search button might guide you.

the fix can be found here m8 if it is the cap prob replace with 16v not 10v

changed both caps still showing 0 and not responding ... any other idea's chaps?

did you put the caps in the correct way round + -
