how do i jtag starview 4 box

i have the lead already but it came with no software or instructions. i have emailed the person i bought it off and am still waiting.
can any body help me please as i dont want to mess about with it and make it worse. i have the 8882 fault.

8882 fix info

To fix the 8882 fault you will need:-

8882 fix adapter from tailor made circuits ?15
a null modem lead maplins or flea bay map=?10
possibly a usb to com port coverter again maplins or flea bay- map = ?4
or a laptop with a com port

for the null modem lead and usb-com port adapter you may wish to shop about for cheaper prices !!

The gt-rom loader file for your unit (eg..sv4usb) this can be found on this site.

follow the instructions on the gt-rom loader file

I did post a full instruction thread (a few weeks ago) of how i did it but i don't know how to link it to this thread.

The loader is a bit temprimenal so ensure the com port is set correctly, it worked for me off a laptop not on my pc don't know why.

set the settings in the gt-rom loader then turn your box off and on to initiate the transfer.
