ESPN on V Anglia region

Hi all and new to this forum, so a big hello to all.

Currently i can get ESPN on V std network (for this month only) but am unable to get it my Box 2. To be fair i havnt updated any software for nearly a year now, all i have been doing is updating the keys as and when. The box is fed via a 3 way splitter ( I have read to update with the cable fixed directly) i have done several scans now, picking up all the other channels (well the important ones) but cannot get ESPN any ideas????

have you downloaded the lateest firmware for your box forget the key business .thats wht i think just search for your box on this forum and someone will have the update you require , sticky is normally the guy.

Hi and welcome to DK

if you can find what the frequency is for that channel on your Virgin box (I don't have one so can't tell you how to find it) then do a manual scan of that frequency on your starview and hopefully you should pick it up

hi and hello cuz i am also new to this site. i am also having the same problem by not getting espn on the 2nd box. i have done exactly the same as yourself with no luck. have you had any luck yet

Hi all and thanks for your replies, i havnt downloaded the latest firmware yet, to be honest i am a little wary of downloading firmware through fear of loosing the lot! Heaven forbid we loose the movie channels my wife wouldnt cook for me for a week. As the saying goes a bird i the hand is better than 2 in the bush. I was hoping to manually scan for espn. So if any of you kind folk has the frequency that would be my plan A.
