The Box Super USB V1.12 Question

Hello,

I've read that the later software versions, V1.10 and V1.12 are killing early genuine SV4 boxes.

I had V1.10 and it was ok, but the advance record did not work, so I reverted to V1.07, and it works just fine and dandy.

I don't seem to have any power issues with my SV4 box, and am wondering weather to update.

I got my SV4 back in december, so I assume its one of the early ones, and therefore at risk from this latest software.

At the mo my attitude is if it aint broke......

As an aside, does V1.12 fix anything other than this "power issue"?

i updated my box with ver1.12 lastnight from ver1.07 the recording is fine and the chanels are all on. i have noticed it seems to turn over alot faster than before. all seems well at the moment with the update.
i bought mine in feb 2009 so i dont know if its an eailer or later model.

certain serial numbers maybe ?

if it is original check for heatsink first,none i would put it on then as a lot of boxes have died.
